Eatwith revolutionizes underground gastronomy

Eatwith company started in 2012 a project that allows tourists enter in the life and gastronomic culture of the country from the locals’ kitchen. The initiative of two israeli businessmen, Guy Michlin and Shemer Schwart, started from a personal experience of Michlin during his holidays in Creta island.

The businessmen started their initiative in Tel-Aviv, in beta phase, before be definitely projected around the world. They decided that this expansion must started in Europe, where gastronomic culture is much more incorporated than in other places of the world. And, among the most touristic cities of the continent, Barcelona was chosen because of its weather, culture and varied diets.
